Back from WSOP 06

When I entered the torunament arena, it hit me hard: This is hopeless. And I was looking at only the fourth of it (this was the fourth and the last day of round one)!:

So I sat down, stole some pots, made a mistake with a set of threes (shoulda reel the guy in, not jam his reraise on flop, making him squirm a lot but lay down his ATo on T83 flop, argh!), built up a bit, lost most of everything flopping top pair with KQs, nursed my short stack for an hour…

Sinking into depression frustration is mounting. Not because of the short stack! Come on, stercus accidit, bothers me none. It is the fact that I'm sitting at the table of unknowns, that's what is depressing! Busting out, I have no story to tell.

So I nurse, survive the break, nurse some more, and then… Somebody busts out a player (the same one I should have, dumb fuck that I am), seat opens and in comes a TV face: Mr. Kassem 'Freddy' Deeb. So he steals with A9o, I defend with KTs, I have my story, see you at the next WSOP.

P.S. I headed home ASAP because of ear problems, like I had cotton deep down there. Stuffed. Plugged. I had them rinsed in a Vegas medical center (cost me $250, did some paperwork waiving responsibility, a girl poured warm water into my ears and I held a cup), no improvement, turns out I have infection back home (my doc checked me out, handed over some penicilin or sumthing, pain went away next day, cost me $0). The short trip overseas was not in vain, however, I found the freshly released NXT Mindstorms pack at the Apple store. Sweet:

I named it AngeBot and tested it out pronto with a shoort circle drawing loop. The Kid loves it.
